19.06.17 BBQ evening is almost here:

11.05.17 Please see the two posters below regarding the summer BBQ.  Thank you

As part of the BBQ on 7th July, we will be running a scavenger hunt for the children in the school grounds. We have received sponsorship for the last two years for the prizes, but we now need a new sponsor or sponsors!!
Is there a local business or organisation out there who would be able to sponsor the scavenger hunt?? We are looking for a total sponsorship value of £150 to purchase enough prizes.
Can you help even with a small amount??

26.04.17 Welcome back to the summer term, and we are preparing for our big summer event! The BBQ and scavenger hunt will be on the evening of Friday 7th July! This is a whole family event!!

With this in mind we have purchased a bigger BBQ to assist our trusty smaller model, and we ask if there are any willing volunteers to man the BBQ's with our poor put upon chair's husband Keith!!!!! I'm sure you all agree he did a sterling job last year with Mr Guest and Mike Cullen and we would like to build on the success of last year!!

Please give us a shout if you can help!! This term we are raising funds to purchase more iPads for the school, and to pay for the smart board (kindly donated to the school) to be installed!!

09.03.17 A massive thank you to one of our parents Hayley who has arranged for the donation of a smart board from her company for the reception classroom!! Thanks to for the donation itself!! Also a big thank you to a former parent Adrian Martin for being our man with a van and arranging for it to be moved to the school!!

12.02.17 What a fantastic night!! You have raised £399.70 for the school fund!!! The majority of the proceeds from this evening will be used for the dinosaur topic in Foundation Phase!! Watch this space for what we'll be using the school fund for in KS2 very soon!!!
Thank you all for your continued support!!!

09.02.17 One more day and it's disco time at MPPS.  Come along and support the PSA.

25.11.16 What a fab afternoon!! There are so many people to thank, if I miss anyone I am sorry!! All our volunteers, the staff who supported the event and helped the children make their craft items, Mr Swan for having to clear up afterwards, all the external stallholders, the children for making fabulous craft and a huge thank you to everyone who attended and spent some money!!!

You raised £900 for the school!! With the Christmas cards and disco you have raised a staggering £1600 this term alone. You are all fabulous!!!!!!
Those volunteers not on FB so cannot be tagged are Corinne and Helen Campling.

24.11.16 Just one more sleep!! The Christmas cards have arrived ready to be distributed at the fayre!! As well as the childrens enterprise stalls, tombola, glitter tattoos, face painting and our large range of external stalls Mrs Francis will be selling raffle tickets and there will be a bran tub/lucky dip for the children! For just 50p dip into the box for a prize!
And Father Christmas will be back in his grotto with the Christmas Elf!!
Please bring into school any donations for the tombola and raffle, plus cakes!!

23.11.16 We're all really looking forward to Friday's Fayre and we hope that it will be very busy at school and a very successful event. Therefore we have to ask everyone attending (including our stallholders) to park sensibly around the school.
Stallholders can use the car park to unload from 2pm, but then must move their vehicles outside the grounds. The staff may need to leave the school whist the Fayre is ongoing, so will need access to the car park and no cars should be blocked in.
The PSA committee and the school all appreciate your co-operation with this matter.

22.11.16 Three more sleeps!! Don't be shocked when you get to the hall...... we are using four classrooms for stalls, Christmas grotto will be in the resource room and there will be room in the hall for you to have a seat and a drink. The chocolate fountain, plus cakes, candy floss and popcorn will all be in the hall too!! Please try to visit all the classrooms where you can buy the childrens craft, buy some gifts from our external stallholders and the children can get face paints and glitter tattoos. Mrs Francis will be selling raffle tickets, as well as Kindle Fires up for grabs, Dragons tickets are also available!!

07.11.16 We have our next PSA committee meeting this Tuesday at 6.15pm in the school staff room. If you can help even for an hour here or there please pop in! Our chair Zoe will be at school for parental consultations from just before 5pm too, so if you can't stay for the meeting please say hello!

30.10.16 Nearly back to school time! So don't forget to get your Christmas Card orders in this week!
Also the Christmas Fayre is less than four weeks away...... if you or a friend would like a stall please get in touch, we need donations of tombola/raffle prizes which can be brought into school at any time and any help on the day would be hugely appreciated!! Just get in touch or come along to the next PSA meeting on Tuesday 8th November at 6.15pm at school.

22.10.16 Thanks to all who attended tonight's disco...... you raised £420 for the school fund! All funds raised go towards learning resources for the children!

18.10.16 Our first disco of the year this Friday. Practise those dance moves children and adults.

12.10.16 Forthcoming events:

06.10.16 Our first event of the year.

02.10.16  We are looking for stallholders for our PSA Christmas Fayre which is being held on Friday 25th November. As we have been so busy over the last couple of years we are trying something a little different. We will be spreading out into the classrooms, so there will be more space and we won't be limiting stallholders to one table. The hall will be reserved for the chocolate fountain and our own refreshments.
If you would like a stall, we ask for £10 donation and a raffle prize. Please contact Zoe via pm at this account, or email/phone the school who will pass on your details.
