There have been reports of head lice in school. We would be grateful if parents could check their childs hair and treat if necessary. Please follow the link on the right for helpful advice. 06/10/08 Complaints: In the first instance any concerns/complaints should be addressed to the class teacher or Headteacher. If you feel your complaint is still unresolved or you feel dissatisfied, please contact Mrs Siān Bates, Chair of Governors who will then investigate further action. Absence and Illness: Regular medicines such as asthma inhalers should be given to Mrs Francis and logged in the school's medicine log book. All other medication that has to be taken should be brought to school and administered by a parent at lunchtime or when appropriate. No other medication should be brought to school by children. If your child is unwell and not able to attend school, you must contact us by 9.30am on each day your child is to be absent. Home School Agreement: You will receive a Home School Agreement at the beginning of the autumn term. We would ask you to discuss this agreement with your child, then sign and return to the class teacher. It sets out what is expected of the child, the parent and the school in the education partnership. We feel that with positive parental support, the education of your child will be greatly enhanced. Basic Equipment: The school provides your child with all the equipment necessary for day to day activities. However, if you feel you wish to supplement these requirements, crayons and coloured pencils for Infants; and a good biro and mathematical set for Juniors are always handy extra pieces of equipment. |
